Ok, so now we have a different problem than the one at Talk:Trading. "Trade" is not only a technology; it's a civ ability that gives a bonus to freighter income. Where should this information go? Trade Bonus isn't quite the same, because that's a percent bonus to your existing Trade ability. Oy. --Nealdt 19:29, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

The zero-thinking answer is a disambig page. Trade would list out all the trade variations, and then we create trace (technology) and trade (ability) and trade (bonus) (and trade (concept)?). Then anybody linking to the particular type of trade would have to specify (or it would take them to the disambig page). The problem is... I HATE disambig pages. Nobody wants to go to a disambig page.
Which ability are you talking about for the civ ability? Looking on the list here at the wiki there is the Trade Bonus (grants a bonus to the Trade revenue gained by freighters and trade routes), and Trade Routes Bonus (This bonus allows additional trade routes to be created). Is it a different one from one of these two? --Steelviper 19:46, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
Well, the current wording of Trade Bonus only refers to the ability you pick when designing your race before the game starts. I'm talking about the ability that the Trade Bonus modifies, the "normal" Trade ability that this technology grants +10 of. Does that make sense? --Nealdt 20:20, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
Gotcha. The trade "attribute". The civilizations "trade income". That's the concept I was trying to capture with what is now the "trading" article. I guess we could make that clearer in the "trading" article, and point the "trade" in "+10 trade" to trading? --Steelviper 20:45, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
